Sažetak
The CFD method and its practical application is elaborated in this thesis. The CFD method is a method in which a computer simulates the effects of a fluid on a certain type of object. Through the thesis the theory and application of the CFD method are examined. Also, a laboratory experiment and a computer simulation are conducted. To be more speciffic, two laboratory experiments were conducted, a direct measurement of a drop in pressure by the Pitot tube and a direct measurement of current speed by a thermal manometer. After that, a computer simulation was made on the examined segment with the initial conditions that we got from the laboratory experiment. At the end of the thesis, the results that came form the laboratory experiment and from the computer simulation are compared to see if any similarities or differences exist.
