Sažetak
The paper discusses the historical background of the genocide campaign that was conducted during the Wars of Yugoslav secession in the first half of 1990s. By tracing historical and political roots of genocide, geopolitics of great powers are given primary focus ; among others, the London secret agreement of 1915, which promised the Serbian government in exile a territorial expansion on Austro-Hungarian territories, is the single act of that kind that determine the hundred years of instability in the Balkans. Serbian political elite was always torn by geopolitics (inter-war and cold war) in which Yugoslavia played very important role for their hidden desire ; the Greta Serbia.
