Sažetak
In the context of the presence of a constant doubt as to whether Croatian and Serbian children in Croatia should be educated together or separately, this paper presents the results of the research conducted in 2016 on the sample of pupils and teachers of secondary schools, about the attitudes and opinions of students and teachers on the implementation of school education in the situation of separate schooling, according to the A model for education of national minorities in Croatia. The research was conducted by a survey method, on a sample of 134 examinees of first grade vocational school and gymnasium, and of their 16 teachers in the town of Vukovar. The results have shown that students generally have positive attitudes toward joint education with pupils of other nationality as well as their teachers. There are overwhelming opinions and attitudes indicating that classrooms should not be separated according to nationality, as well as that teachers have positive attitudes towards teaching pupils of other nationality, or towards the common education of minority and majority students.
