Sažetak
Šibenik and lzmir are prominent port cities with vast industrial and tourist potential based on natural and cultural values. However, the preservation of cultural heritage sites has been generally considered more valuable than industrial heritage. In this paper, the approaches and practices of the authorities towards the preservation of ind ustrial heritage in those cities are evaluated through examples by discussing the benefits of those in the diversification of tourism layers.
