Sažetak
Sulfide stress corrosion cracking, SSCC, is an important concern with down hole equipment and is therefore very important factor in the design of steels with sour (H2S) suitability. To asses the SSCC resistance of low alloyed Cr-Mo steels, a comparative test between experimental tubing and the commercial one was performed using laboratory tensocorrosion method. Quenched and tempered specimens were included in the study so that detrimental effects of different microconstituents could be revealed by XRD analyses. This investigation indicated that under laboratory testing the examined tubings demonstrated performances comparable to that of API tubular grade P110 steel.
