Sažetak
A various solutions of the legal regulation of religious life in different European countries will be examined. Different European countries have different models of regulation of state - church relations which also correlate with all religious entities. The notion that Europe and the European Union in particular work on the same patterns is misleading. Each European county has its own solution regarding regulation of religious life. The only mutual parameter is European Convention on Human Rights, but than again, by using the Margin of Appreciation doctrine, the Court respects different cultural and historical particularities to shape the law in the direction which falls within the scope of national and cultural identity of particular Nation.
