Sažetak
'“Neoliberal Subjectivity at the Political Frontier” by Matko Krce-Ivančić, deploys Foucault’s understanding of the contemporary subject as an entrepreneur of himself and the corresponding view of power in neoliberal governments in order to criticize Laclau’s model of emancipation. After demonstrating that the productive character of power is not adequately acknowledged in Laclau’s model, Krce-Ivančić critically examines his notion of the political frontier, arguing that this external frontier has failed to take shape due to the emergence of self- entrepreneurial subjectivity. Finally, self-governing is identified as a governmental technology that subverts subversion, preventing Laclau’s model from fulfilling its promise of emancipation.'
