Sažetak
Croatia is the geographical architectural integration of the Panonic, Alpine, Dinaric and Adriatic areas. Croatia is one of the three European countries with the highest economic growth at the moment. The vision of the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning is sustainable spatial development of Croatia through effective care for recognizing, preserving and using space as a particularly valuable and limited national asset. Croatian strategic and operational activities are in line with Europe 2020 and its priorities. The construction industry is strongly connected to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. A greener direction means more sustainable and environmentally acceptable materials, green infrastructure development and a more competitive economy, and the construction industry is not an exception. Regarding affordable housing, the plan is to ensure 20, 000 homes for Croatian citizens through a programme of state-subsidized housing construction by 2021.
