Sažetak
The global increase in competence due to technological changes and increasing product development contributed to the continuous improvement of performance as a strategic and competitive requirements in most organizations. The paper shows the overview of the area of performance management and performance measurement. It describes the concepts of management and measurement of performance and reasons why we measure performance. The improvement of the business company is based on a system of measuring and managing performance of that control and enforcement is a key factor in strategy implementation. Performance measurement system is at the core of the performance management and is essential for its efficient use. Therefore, performance measurement should be part of a system that monitors the performance, deciding on actions and changes in business operations.
