Sažetak
In this paper a case study about the patron/s of the choir stalls from the church of the Franciscan monastery in Cres, on the namesake island in the Quarner bay of Croatia, will be presented. In the rectangular presbytery of the church of St. Francis in the town of Cres the medieval choir stalls are preserved. They consist of two rows of seats situated next to the North and South wall. The obvious Venetian artistic influence read on the woodcarvings of the choir stalls was a starting point in the research of the possible patron/s or commissioner/s.
