Sažetak
As a part of the QoE4VR project, a study of user Quality of Experience (QoE) for omnidirectional video streaming service was conducted on a sample of 20 test subjects. The subjects rated the quality of pre-prepared video sequences whose quality was degraded by introducing different frame drop patterns and by changing the video resolution. The continuous rating method was used to collect the subjects’ opinions about the video quality, i.e., the subjects were asked to rate the quality whenever they notice the change during screening. Hence, multiple ratings were collected per test subject, which enabled us to evaluate user QoE level per specific segment of a video, i.e., per specific type of video degradation, which was introduced. This paper presents the obtained results and discusses the possible paths for future research.
