Sažetak
The crystal structure of 2, 10-bis-spiro(2-adamantyliden)-1, 3, 6, 9, 11, 14-hexathiacyclohexadecane, C28 H44 S6, (I) is presented. The conformational features of (I) are compared with the previously reported analogous macrocycles using CSD data. It is shown that the type of the substituent affects considerably the conformation of the macrocycle. A 1H NMR titration of (I) with AgBF4 indicated the formation of the 1:1 complex, that, however, was not crystallised.
