Sažetak
This human rights review covers around three years (2014-2017) outlining the most relevant human rights issues in Croatia. Attention is first given to human rights issues that received the most media coverage, followed by the most important decisions of the Croatian Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights regarding Croatia. Sometimes it was impossible to neatly divide these sections, so in some places court decisions and media coverage of these issues are presented jointly. However, the main focus is given on the courts’ decisions, in particular regarding their impact on legislative changes in Croatia. Finally, the conclusion provided a short overview of the most relevant governmental and non-governmental organiszations that work on the promotion and protection of human rights in Croatia.
