Sažetak
U ovom preglednom radu prezentiramo relativno elementaran dokaz slavnog Gelfand-Mazurovog teorema, koji kaže da je svaka kompleksna normirana algebra s dijeljenjem izomorfna algebri kompleksnih brojeva C, te pomoću njega dajemo kratak dokaz Osnovnog teorema algebre.
