Sažetak
The study presents a development of small states’ relevance in international relations with special accent on analysis of the current position of small state in contemporary foreign policy discourse. Furthermore, this study applies theoretical frameworks to analyse challenges that Croatia as a small state faces in international relations and the opportunities it had for promoting interests and gaining relevance on regional, European and global level.
