Sažetak
In 2017, German artist Hans Jürgen Syberberg set up an installation entitled “Café Zilm”, which took place over a two-week period in the main town square in Demmin. This book is an attempt to understand the meaning of this work. The author takes into consideration some of the artist's earlier works (the films "The Night" from 1985 and "Edith Clever reads Joyce" from 1987, and the installation "Cave of Memory" from 1997), showing how they pave the way for art that would be free from an a priori attachment to a particular medium, as well as the central problem of Syberberg’s poetics, which can be formulated as distrust and at the same time trust in art itself.
