Sažetak
The paper deals with the results of investigations of properties of wagon axle forged on a horizontal forging machine and on hammer. By forging on the HFM, a much more convenient way of forging as compared to the hammer, much better mechanical and technological properties of standard wagon axles with approximately the same deegre of processing can be achived. This is rather favoruably reflected in prolonged service wagon axles forged on HFM.
