Sažetak
The primary task of this paper is to explore the role of cryopoetic elements in the characterization of cold, „incompatible“ characters of pathological consciousness as well as characters alienated from the environment they live and work in. The paper also explores the relations between the characters, which are primarily determined by emotional coldness (inhumane and cruel treatment of others, the lack of empathy towards the person who is suffering, indifference and similar). Said tasks refer to the novels THE PASHA'S CONCUBINE and ANIKA'S TIMES. We will also examine the influence of externalities on the character and plot (winter, growth, ripening…), as well as the condition of the character with respect to the coldness of the interior and the exterior (JELENA, THE WOMAN OF MY DREAM). Special attention will be given to the so-called, somatic colds.
