Sažetak
The “Scientific and Technological Foresight“ project is under way in Croatia. This project, led by the Ministry of Science and Education, has several goals – definition of legal framework regarding research information management in Croatia, creation of the national CRIS and the implementation of scientific and technological mapping and foresight. The biggest one, the creation of a national CRIS system (CroRIS), is entrusted to University Computing Centre of University of Zagreb. In this talk, we present the current state of affairs regarding research information management in Croatia, and the idea behind this new CRIS system. We also show project activities and work in progress regarding CroRIS, as well as our future development and implementation plans.
