Sažetak
Legg-Calve-Perthes disease is elusive paediatric hip disease with unknown aetiology. In many hospital management is still empirical, since the main goal of treatment should be to do treatment outcomes better than natural history of the disease. Several classification systems are introduced, and lateral pilar or Herring classification is predominantly adopted, nowadays. Herring's B/C class is the most controversial as one should be aware that prognosis in children of age 8 years and more are at the risk, especially. Some of possible management modalities are outlined and discussed with literature data and illustrated with clinical examples from author's own experience.
