Sažetak
The IAEA experiences demonstrate that dosimetry audits improve the reference and clinical radiotherapy dosimetry. Audits also provide support and confidence when introducing new techniques and complex processes in radiotherapy. They strengthen the confidence of physicists and clinicians who are given assurance that their patients receive accurate doses. Due to evident benefits, all radiotherapy centres should be encouraged to participate in dosimetry audits.
