Sažetak
Paper examines the potential for housing loans financing by issuing mortgage covered bonds in the Republic of Croatia. In the paper are analysed statistical data on mortgage and housing market and demographical data for the Republic of Croatia. The main goal of such an analysis is to estimate the potential for housing loans financing by issuing mortgage covered bonds in the Republic of Croatia and to propose the most appropriate model for application according to the practice in the rest of the Europe.
