Sažetak
In this paper, the authors investigate a method for induction machine parameter estimation by employing a population-based metaheuristic algorithm that optimizes unknown parameter values using the least squares criteria. Comparing the measured values of current and speed, that were previously obtained during line start experiment, with the calculated values obtained from solving the state-space induction machine model equations, the algorithm calculates residual values and optimizes unknown parameter values in order to generate minimal residue. Results obtained by the optimization are presented and discussed.
