Sažetak
The article gives an overview of the socio-economic policy structure of the EU and considers its linkage to the Sustainable Development Goals. In the first part 17 goals and socio-economic dimension of the 2030 Agenda are outlined. In the following part, the article gives an overview of the two socio-economic policy instruments of the EU – the European Pillar of Social Rights and the Europe 2020 Strategy. The article is concluded by outlining different scenarios for the future of socio-economic dimension of the EU and by suggesting that the 2030 Agenda could serve as an important tool in implementing respective social and economic policies.
