Sažetak
: An integrated bridge system, by its control and information concept resembling an aircraft pilot-cabin known as the cockpit, has been developed for high-speed vessels. Some of the world well-known companies have accordingly developed the systems designed for modern high-speed vessels termed the ship cockpit. The ship cockpit system, particularly regarding its safety, efficiency and economy for similar vesells converted to carry passengers and vechiles between the Croatian mainland and its isladns, has been thoroughly analised in this paper. The applications of this system, its basic features, its employment in navigation and the equipment arrangement on the bridge have also been discussed
