Sažetak
Heart failure with the preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a syndrome with complex pathophysiology and etiology and currently, no evidence-based treatments are developed that would reduce mortality and hospitalizations in this population. On the other hand, coronary microvascular dysfunction might be the mechanism through which myocardial aberrations are propagated onto myocardium.
