Sažetak
Our paper explores the classroom procedure of applying an explicit instructional approach, active learning strategies in particular, in teaching conversational implicatures to Croatian EFL learners. In addition to that, we explored the learners’ attitudes towards the applicable value of pragmatic competence in second language acquisition.
