Sažetak
The research was conducted on a dairy cattle farm. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of protected and unprotected non protein nitrogen (NPN) compounds on glucose and urea levels in dairy cattle at different times, and to determine how the addition of urea in different forms will effect on milk quality. Blood was taken 1 hour before feeding and 1, 2 and 4 hours after feeding because then the changes in the body and possible changes in milk quality were best seen. The experiment consists of two groups ; The first (K) group was fed a meal to which an unprotected NPN compound was added, the second (P) group was fed a meal to which a protected NPN compound was added. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the addition of protected and unprotected urea in the diet of dairy cattle does not affect the proportion of glucose or urea in the body of the animal, there is no change in the composition of milk. Database preparation, logical control of data, as well as statistical analysis was performed using SAS / STAT.
