Sažetak
We are witnessing the daily development of information science. Almost every day, informatics provides us with new opportunities. One of the most important developments is the use of the Internet for data transmission and increasing data mobility. Business information systems are the basic business support of a modern company. Since there is more and more talk about business in the cloud, an analysis of the use of business information systems in the cloud in the Republic of Croatia for the storage of accounting data. The aim of this paper is to investigate how much trust accountants have in the work of cloud accounting and how much it is related to the organizational structure of the company in which they work. Empirical examination of a sample of 156 respondents concluded that the reluctance to work in cloud accounting is largely dependent on the organizational structure of the company in which accountants work, but is not significantly related to their age, although most accountants said 63.46% there is no trust for cloud accounting work.
