Sažetak
From the aspect of functional grammar and cognitive semantics, using the example of older Croatian literature, the use of variants of the prepositional construction vrh-genitive in the figurative meaning of direction of speech and denoting the subject of speech and theme is studied. The semantics of the examples studied is considered in the context of conceptualization of discourse as a material entity positioned in space.
