Sažetak
As an essential part of the entrepreneurial infrastructure, business incubators play a key role in a successful transformation of start- ups into successfull businesses. Business incubators provide numerous benefits and services in facilitating the process of starting a business and helping it grow. One of the benefits could involve aquiring information on the supply chain management. Before such a programme is developed, we will briefly discuss the importance of supply chain management in the business success of start-ups, i.e. growing small businesses. The pros and cons of a business taking part in a supply chain need to be carefully considered. Furthermore, the paper shows how small farms have solved the problem of distribution of their products without engaging in supply chains of large companies.
