Sažetak
In this study, we present data about the frequency of repetitive laboratory testing within the recommended minimum retesting interval (MRI) at a tertiary academic hospital for patients admitted to the Emergency department (ED) and subsequently hospitalized. Results obtained here prove that, despite the availability of recent results from the ED, repetitons of routine laboratory tests within the MRI time frame the first morning following hospitalization through ED occur fairly commonly and mainly through schematic ordering.
