Sažetak
Enterprises of all sizes are increasingly relying on the acceptance, use, and improvement of technological innovations, among which a special place occupies a business intelligence system (BIS). This system presents a series of tools, applications, and techniques that enable storage, analysis, visualization, and distribution of data to key people at crucial moments. Therefore, this type of technology has become essential for the sustainability and efficiency of enterprises. Meanwhile, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) achieve growing economic prominence within the Republic of Croatia. For that reason, this paper studies the potential technological dimension influence within the Technology- Organization-Environment (TOE) framework on successful BIS adoption within tertiary SMEs in the Republic of Croatia. Thereby, the authors surveyed a sample of 100 Croatian tertiary SMEs and analysed collected data through the regression analysis. Given the results, BIS’ compatibility and the ability to assess the BIS benefits positively influence the BIS adoption process within the sampled enterprises. On the other hand, BIS’ complexity and perception of the BIS comparative advantage do not significantly influence the BIS adoption in Croatian tertiary SMEs.
