Sažetak
A psychological contract is a relatively new form of agreement that outlines the mutual expectations of the employee and the employer. Unlike an employment contract, it is not drafted in writing but is instead focused on the individual's ambitions, values and motivation. The psychological contract and the employment contract provide an accurate representation of the relationship between the employee and the employer, and since each employee is an individual, each psychological contract will differ. The aim of this study was to examine the employee attitudes towards the employment contract, in particular, to determine employee understanding of the concept of the psychological contract. Another objective was to determine whether there is a relationship between employee sociodemographic characteristics, and violations of the psychological contract.
