Sažetak
The basic idea presented in this paper is to use Grafcet for the development of a passenger-elevator communication system. The proposed passenger elevator communication system is based on the idea that the information about the travel destinations chosen by the passengers must be given to the elevator control system before the passengers enter the elevator car. This is made possible by installing car operating panels in the building hall. In order to avoid the creation of a psychological barrier for passengers, the proposed passenger-elevator communication system also allows the passengers to choose their desired destinations through a car operating panel installed inside the elevator car. The use of Grafcet for modeling and developing the proposed communication system made it possible to create really flexible and reliable computer simulations. As demonstrated by the results presented in this paper, the proposed passengerelevator communication system proved superior to other commonly used approaches.
