Sažetak
In this presentation, the author describes major contribution of the Council of Europe in the fight against human trafficking. The presentation was given on the occasion of the release of the Third Progress Report on the implementation of the 2011 EU Directive on Trafficking in Human Beings. The author emphasized the need for the mutual reinforcement of the CoE’s and the EU’s action against human trafficking. Very similar findings of stocktaking conducted by EU and GRETA, suggest EU and COE have to work together in order to reinforce their core legal instruments – EU Directive and COE Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings
