Sažetak
Unlike the telephone line or other Internet infrastructure, such as xDSL, Fiberoptics, etc, we present a smart algorithm for blindly demixing multiple source signals that are concurrently transmitted via a legacy household powerline (220 VAC) without additional cost of any address multiplexing infrastructure. The proposed algorithm is proved to be successful to communicate between multiple sources and a receiver (N-to-1) for a small network in a house or an apartment. The algorithm proposes a use of a finite alphabet property and a loading impedance insertion in order to solve problems caused by noise in the powerline. Based on empirical data, the proposed algorithm can reduce complexity of the powerline communication system. Moreover, this paper suggests a possible and simple way to implement the proposed algorithm in an electronic circuit. Finally, the performance of the proposed algorithm is measured in terms of bit-error-rate (BER) in order to ensure stability and robustness of the algorithm.
