Sažetak
A smart-scaled photovoltaic and fuel cell didactic equipment is presented as a practical higher education tools for learning about these Alternative Energy Sources. This didactic equipment is used at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (FERIT), Croatia as a part of a curriculum in the course Applied Power Electronics. The didactic equipment is described, and selected laboratory exercise experiments are presented. A few topic examples, with which the students are dealing at the exercises are given. Furthermore, student’s knowledge evaluation has been done in the terms of conducted knowledge tests before and after performed laboratory exercises. Finally, the result of the student’s survey is presented.
