Sažetak
The paper presents a study on Chinese folk costume, focusing on Chinese women's Qipao or Cheongsan dress. A historical overview of Chinese women's folk costumes is given, with an emphasis on its influence of the traditional clothing on contemporary design and women fashion. Based on the conducted study, contemporary women busines clothing collection, with integrated elements of Chinese folk costume has been designed. According to the original design, block patterns of collection clothing models were constructed and modelled. Special emphasis is given to the selected materials, clothing fit and high stylization.
