Sažetak
Relational data model has been used for a long time. Many things regarding the model are known and databases that rely on the model can store and manage large amounts of data. As such, the model has been used as a foundation to build some other (more advanced) types of databases, including deductive databases. Based on the idea of deductive databases the idea of deductive data warehouses has been proposed. There are some differences between the two to them, but one of the problems (when working with large sets of data) is that deductive data warehouses seem to be slow, although they have certain advantages as well. In this paper the performances of deductive data warehouses are measured on several queries (goals) and for that purpose two computers are used. The aim is to test whether performances can be improved and to what extent.
