Sažetak
What are the conditions, in the context of a liberal theory of justice, that allow genetic engineering to be carried upon humans? Genetic engineering is legitimate if and only if it is used either (i) to eliminate defects that obstruct and individual becoming a citizen ; (ii) to eliminate some more generally recognized handicaps, and (iii) to add talents without eliminating other talents.
