Sažetak
The paper presents a test of thermal insulation of a protective vest in static mode. The vests have the same construction characteristics but differ in the raw material composition of the base fabric. Measurements were performed on a system for testing the thermal properties of clothing called thermal manikin. It is installed in the Department of Clothing Technology of the Faculty of Textile Technology. The test was performed according to the international standard ISO HRN EN ISO 15831. The obtained results were processed by statistical analysis and prove a statistically significant difference between the arithmetic means of the tested protective vests.
