Sažetak
Cationic surfactants are widely used in technological processes because of their functionality and favorable environmental effects. Quaternary ammonium compounds (QAC) are especially distinguished among them due to their antibacterial properties, low toxicity, low skin irritation, poor corrosivity and good environmental stability. The aim of this work is investigation of the adsorption of QAC, cetylpyridinium chloride, on standard woven cotton PES fabric at pH 9.0, 6.0 and 4.0 in an electrokinetic analyzer by measuring the streaming potential.
