Sažetak
The chapter reviews the accurate quantum dynamical calculations of reactive collisions on barrierless potential energy surfaces in triatomic alkali systems at ultracold temperatures. Vibrational relaxation in these systems is a source of potential trap loss in photoassociation experiments that aim to produce molecular Bose-Einstein condensates.
