Sažetak
Stray losses outside windings are a topic that that today is still very interesting and producing a lot of scientific paper every year. The aim of the book is to give a good base for any future work and research on transformer magnetic fields. Topics are presented in the way to teach the concepts and how different solutions work and interact. Also, at the same time the book is giving references to papers and books, by the author or other relevant experts, where one can find more details, formulas etc. for more detailed study of any of the subjects in future. The book is written in the way that a beginner in the field can understand why some materials are used, why some shielding is good or bad in a situation or similar. Examples are given only to give a picture about influences, while transformer design details in examples are missing on purpose as the book would then be overwhelming and unattractive to beginners. Also, the book might be useful for those not working in the field when wanting to remind of some concepts or to find references in a quick way.
