Sažetak
This thesis focuses on Anglicisms in Russian youth magazines. The corpus of sixty Anglicisms found in four different magazines was analysed on the orthographic, morphological and semantic level of the language. The research was done within the framework of Contact Linguistics and was based on the work of Croatian linguist Rudolf Filipović. The analysis is focused on the nature and the circumstances of the contact between English and Russian language and what changes does such contact produce within the Russian language. The thesis shows that like any other language, Russian is prone to accepting foreign words into its lexis and as such, is a part of the universal phenomenon of language borrowing.
