Sažetak
This paper proposes a method to define the value of an emergency service which the microgrid can provide both to the system operator and its own users. This means the microgrid operates as a market-driven grid-tied energy community. However, it also needs to be able to disconnect from the main grid and maintain stable operation in the off-grid regime. To evaluate this, this paper demonstrates the following microgrid models: i) on-grid mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model of a microgrid driven by market signals ; ii) dynamic model of a microgrid during transitioning into off-grid mode. Based on these models, this paper defines constraints that determine monetary value of providing flexibility to the system operator and security of supply to end-users during transition to off-grid mode.
