Sažetak
By changing input warp moisture caused by different conditions or processes the size coat was changed. The warp with a lower input moisture had a higher size coat than the warp with a higher moisture provided that the other influencing parameters remained constant. Though the warp treated in wet conditions before sizing is dried before immersing in the sizing liquor, this drying is not uniform because the speed is not always the same, and the content of water in the warp is not the same after centrifuging the warp on the beam in a wet finishing proces. A great influence on the size coat was evident in a change of dwelling the warp in the size box, in warp thread density, warp tension in the size box, force of squeezing the surplus of size liquor from the warp, in rheologic changes etc.
