Sažetak
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the effects of Donald Trump’s tweets and the sentiment of the messages he sends. Using a large amount of his tweets, excluding retweets, this thesis performs a sentiment analysis by using lexicon-based approach in order to categorize the tweets into three groups by their sentiment score: positive, negative and neutral tweets. On the basis of the results of this research, it can be concluded that the cognitive aspects of Trump’s tweets are in correlation with the agenda that he is pursuing in order to achieve his vision.
