Sažetak
The paper gives an account of the 2019 EUP elections in Croatia. Authors analyse party ideological positions, party competition and electoral campaign in the context of national structure of the party system and dominant public attitudes towards the EU. Authors conclude that most of party Euroscepticism belongs to soft Euroscepticism and has a role of distancing from the mainstream parties in the national party context. In this vein, second-orderness of EU elections in Croatia becomes a crucial framework for understanding the nature of the EU party competition and electoral campaign.
